Sarah Campbell

Sarah Campbell

Sarah Campbell is an internationally acclaimed textile designer, best known for her bold use of colour, pattern and expressive hand-painted designs. She co-founded the renowned design partnership Collier Campbell with her sister Susan, creating distinctive designs for some of the leading names in fashion and homewares, including Liberty of London.

Sarah has continued to work independently since Susan’s death in 2011, creating new work alongside the extensive Collier Campbell archive. Her designs have been licensed across fabrics, homewares, stationery, ceramics, accessories and wall art. Since 2021, her ongoing collaboration with Museums & Galleries has developed into a growing range of stationery and paper goods, including cards, notebooks, gift wrap and other products. The archive offers a wealth of distinctive work for further licensing, while Sarah continues to create new designs.

In 2026, Sarah’s work is the subject of a major exhibition at London’s Fashion and Textile Museum, Paint! Pattern! Print! The Textiles of Susan Collier and Sarah Campbell. Bringing together work from the Collier Campbell archive alongside Sarah’s continuing creative practice, the exhibition celebrates more than five decades of influential textile design and the enduring impact of their distinctive approach to colour, pattern and print.
