Neil Packer

Neil Packer is an award-winning illustrator known for his highly considered, intelligent and visually distinctive work. With a background in graphic design, his illustrations combine strong composition, typography and narrative clarity, resulting in imagery that is both thoughtful and visually striking.

He has worked extensively with The Folio Society, illustrating a wide range of classic titles including The Name of the RoseCatch-22One Hundred Years of Solitude and Foucault’s Pendulum, as well as major limited editions of The Divine Comedy and Shakespeare’s First Folio. These richly detailed works, along with his interpretations of The Odyssey and The Iliad (retold by Gillian Cross), offer strong potential for licensing across puzzles, gift wrap and other paper-based products.

Neil is also the author-illustrator of One of a Kind, a visually inventive title whose distinctive artwork has already translated successfully into licensed products.

Based in London, Neil continues to create clever, beautifully crafted imagery that sits confidently between illustration and design, with clear appeal for both publishing and licensing markets.
