Jenny Tylden-Wright
Jenny Tylden-Wright studied Printed Textiles at Winchester School of Art and went on to complete an MA at the Royal College of Art. After working as a freelance textile designer, she moved into illustration, where her strong sense of pattern and composition continues to shape her work.
Her distinctive style combines detailed, decorative drawing with a lino-cut aesthetic, created by scanning monotone crayon drawings and adding colour digitally. Alongside this, her archive work is created entirely in pencil, with no digital intervention. Inspired by animals, plants and landscapes, her work has been widely commissioned for book jackets, including It Takes a Village by Hillary Clinton, as well as for advertising, art prints and stationery.
Jenny’s richly patterned illustrations translate beautifully to product and have been successfully licensed across greeting cards and a popular range of tins, often featuring her much-loved Highland cows.
