Gabriela Larios
Gabriela Larios is a London-based artist and illustrator whose work is rich in colour, pattern and storytelling. Inspired by her childhood in El Salvador, her imagery draws on folk art, nature and memory, creating a distinctive visual world filled with plants, animals and decorative detail.
She studied at Camberwell College of Arts, graduating with an MA in 2007, and has since developed a practice spanning illustration, textiles and surface design. Working across watercolour, gouache and collage, her work has a handcrafted, playful quality with a strong narrative thread.
Gabriela’s designs have been widely licensed across a range of products including jigsaw puzzles, fabric, greeting cards and phone cases. Her imaginative, pattern-rich style translates particularly well into repeat design and product applications, where her vibrant colour and intricate detail have strong commercial appeal.
