Alex T Smith - Six New Galleries

18th May 2012: Alex T Smith's work is taking the illustration world by storm. In partnership with Arena Illustration, it is our pleasure to be working with Alex's exceptional portfolio.  Six new galleries by Alex T Smith are now live.

An already impressive list of books under his belt, Alex has illustrated several successful series You, Me & Thing (Faber & Faber), The Horrible Princess and The Baddie (Meadowside), Fantastic Frankie and The Brain-drain Machine (Simon & Schuster). Alex has written and illustrated his own picture books: Home (Scholastic), Bella & Monty (Hodder) winner of the Dundee Picture Book Award 2011, My Mum Has X-Ray Vision (Scholastic), written Angela McAllister, winner of the Stockport School's Book Award 2011 and Egg (Hodder).

His latest book, Ella (Scholastic) received great reviews. Home, Egg and Eliot Jones Midnight Superhero were also featured on CBeebies Bedtime Stories. Alex is also the creator of fiction series Claude, about a little dog's adventures with sidekick Sir Bobblysock. Claude in the City was selected for the Richard and Judy Children's Book Club 2011 and was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize 2012.

Art House Licensing have already secured licenses for greeting-cards, gift-wrap, and an exclusive license for rubber stamps with Penny Black, The Almanac Gallery, Camden Graphics, & Jung Design. These highly popular images would translate wonderfully onto a whole array of products - contact us for more details, imagine what Alex's work could do for your brand!
