italian paintings from Glasgow Museums

9th April 2012 The Essence of Beauty is the new exhibition at Kelvingrove Gallery in Glasgow. Over 40 fine paintings, dating from the late 14th to the 19th centuries, form the basis of chronologically-themed displays. The exhibition also includes decorated arms and armour, fine sculpture, wonderful Venetian glass and fine ceramics, all of which provide a broader historical and artistic context for the paintings. All are available to license from Art House Licensing.
