Emily Milne Wallis

28th April 2012: Well done to the exceptionally talented Emily Milne Wallis who has received Highly Commended at the Cheltenham Illustration Awards for her 'Deer in the Woods' picture and has recently been displayed at the London Book Fair, one of our long-time favourites, this piece is the very first artwork which attracted our very own Art House Director Jehane Boden Spiers to Emily's work at her degree show, back in 2008, and Jehane's been working for her ever since! Emily's 'Reflect on London' has been displayed at the London Transport Museum; with her extraordinary draughtmanship, Emily is a natural-born illustrator carving out an already successful career. The image below 'Secret London' is one of Emily's newest pieces for an AOI competition - bonne chance Emily!

Her award winning work was awesome. Not many artists are able to bring on such a magnificent piece of work. Her new work also seems promising. I wish her best of luck for her future endeavors and hope that she will win many awards in the coming years.
