15th September 2012: The limited edition of Paul Thurlby's alphabet book, brilliantly designed by Mike Jolley at Templar, has been shortlisted for the children's category in British Book Design & Product Awards

"The Awards, brought to you by BPIF, Oxford Brookes University and The Publishers Association, are the premier recognition event for British book design and production.

The judges will be looking for good design, free of typographical errors. Particular emphasis will be given to excellent layout and standards of typography.

The Awards will be presented at a glittering event on Tuesday 20 November 2012 at the prestigious Grange St Paul's Hotel.  It will be the event of the year for all those involved in the industry, bringing printers, designers and their clients together to celebrate the best of British book design and production work"

See more of Paul Thurlby's portfolio on the Art House Licensing website, and wishing good luck to Paul and the team at Templar for the awards. Paul is naturally enjoying the irony of the event being held at the St Paul's Hotel - an apt coincidence we may add!
