30th July 2012: It's all glitter and glamour at Five Dollar Shake who have applied their special midas touch to x 12 images from our retro photography collection, creating an exciting new range of hand-embellished, glittered and crystalled Christmas greeting-cards for 2013.

We spoke to Matt and Beth, founders of the multi award-winning Five Dollar-Shake, about the success of their new range;

“Most of us tap into something nostalgic at Christmas time. Perhaps even more so when times are tough. So this year we took the decision to add a different dimension to our Christmas card collection. After leafing through (okay scrolling!) over a hundred black and white photos, we came up with a dozen or so images that we felt would translate into something both nostalgic and quite charming. Our customers have reacted very positively and sales are going well. Cute and yet cuter still seems to be the order of the day! Our best selling image by far is of a terrier puppy with a old fashioned Christmas card in his mouth! Something for everyone!”

Which one's your favourite? Here are six best-selling designs from the range...

Congratulations are also due to Five Dollar Shake for their recent Henries nominations for trade awards to greeting-cards!

We're sure you'll be adding another award to the line-up and we're looking forward to seeing your Christmas images hit retail stores for the 2013 festive season....
